Genesee Black Cherry Vanilla Kellerbier

Kellerbiers are a style of lager first brewed in Germany and perhaps dating back to the Middle Ages. Kellerbier literally means “cellar beer” because it referred to any beer being aged under the brewery and served straight from the lagering vessel.

Our Black Cherry Vanilla Kellerbier is brewed with both our German heritage and the beer's history in mind, but with a modern twist: the addition of natural black cherry and vanilla flavors. The result is a bright, refreshing lager with a perfect addition of black cherry and vanilla flavors to complement a light malt body.

The Kolsch style is traditionally served in a glass called a stange. Stanges are sometimes referred to as the “champagne flutes of the beer world” and are tall and narrow with straight sides, typically holding fewer than 12 ounces.
